The Success Compass brand is committed to the highest standards of quality and excellence in our publishing projects. Crucial to the success of our publishing projects is an excellent story.
If you’re not a writer, we have ghostwriters. If you aren’t a grammar guru, we have editors. But we need top-quality stories and for that, we need you.
The following information contains all the details to make a decision about becoming a published author in this exciting new book.
We take our partnerships with authors very seriously and we ask that you carefully read through all the details to determine if this opportunity resonates with your personal and professional goals.
Each submission must be approved and accepted by the designated Board of Directors for this project. (Any monies collected toward the participation fee are 100% refundable in the event of a declined submission)

The project leader, or “compiler,” organizes a collection of shorter works by multiple authors rather than an entire work by a single author.

Credibility – Perhaps nothing establishes credibility as quickly and securely as the words: “Published Author.” You’ll gain membership to this exclusive club. The prestige you get from being part of a published project changes the game of marketing and selling.
Additionally, as if a book wasn’t enough, you’ll inherit and capitalize on the two-time award-winning brand of The Success Compass. This popular book is expanding its series, which will only expand your marketing opportunities. You will be a part of the existing family and also part of the dynamic series as it grows.
Marketing – It’s been said that marketing is too important to leave to the marketing people. The truth is, you’re responsible for marketing, regardless of how much support your company provides. Brochures get little attention. Business cards get thrown away. A book, however, packs a powerful punch. A book can market you and your business in so many ways that we could write a book about it! (Hey, that’s a good idea – The Success Compass for Marketing. We’ll let you know when we’re accepting submissions.) Once you have your name on a book, you can do things a little differently. Give them away to potential clients. Send them as gifts to important people you want to meet. Tout your writing credentials on your business cards, in marketing material, in your email signature, etc. Heck, if you’re single, you can probably land a few more dates!
Contribution – Sure, we offer exciting marketing and promotion ideas. But the most important tool we offer you is the ability to generate encouragement, hope, inspiration and motivation. We exist to serve other people. The Success Compass for Entrepreneurs gives you an incredible tool to positively impact and influence other people. You’ll also be able to leave a part of you behind. When we leave a book with someone – especially a book with a personal story about ourselves that shares an important aspect of who we are and what we stand for – we deploy leverage, credibility, marketing impact and making a contribution at the same time.
Fees to Participate
All accepted submissions will receive a publishing agreement that outlines all the legalities and rights for both the publisher and contributing authors. The flat fee to participate in the project is $995.00.
$495 is due at the time we receive your Submission Reservation Form and/or Submission Profile. The balance is due 45 days after you receive notification of acceptance.
Special Features
In addition to these benefits, we will nurture the author relationship through additional services that contribute to your success. We touched on some of these in other places, but also highlight them below.
World-Class Editorial – Every contributing author will have his or her chapter reviewed by a professional editor. While this may seem standard, there is much more to editing than fixing typos and adjusting grammar. Good writing flows, pulling the reader into the story, and that takes experience you may not have. We’ll provide it. You will also have access to our professional ghost-writing service. If you have something great to say, but just don’t know how to say it, don’t worry. At NO CHARGE, you can elect to be interviewed by our editing team, and they’ll craft your story for you. It may be written by a pro, but the story will be all yours.
Customized Cover Options – Each author may upgrade to a “private edition” version of the book. This is optional and can be exercised at any time before, during or after publication. The standard version of the book will simply display the name of the compiler on the front. All contributing authors will have their names prominently displayed on the cover page of their individual chapter and in the table of contents. For $200, contributing authors may upgrade to a custom cover design that includes their name listed on the front cover with the compiler. Your photo would also be included on the back cover with the compiler.
Wholesale Cost – Each author may purchase both The Success Compass for Entrepreneurs and the original version of The Success Compass at a significant discount. This allows authors to earn a profit from books, combining and leveraging The Success Compass brand for your own advantage.
Private Conference Calls and Mastermind Groups – This alone is worth the investment in this project. These private calls for contributing authors will cover a multitude of topics. We’ll guide you on how to successfully create your story for the book, but it goes way beyond that. You’ll be part of a network of high performing entrepreneurs who will share their expertise in business, marketing and sales. Private/individual clients have paid thousands of dollars for a fraction of the information, people and resources you’ll access.
